Hoi An is about 30 km south of Da Nang International Airport (DAD): 40–50 minutes along the coastal road past My Khe and the Non Nuoc beaches. Since July 2025 Hoi An is part of Da Nang city, but the old town and the An Bang / Cua Dai beach hotels are still a separate drive.

The road
Coastal road (Vo Nguyen Giap / Truong Sa) south along the beaches, then into Hoi An. Cars cannot enter the pedestrian old town — the driver stops at the nearest street and helps with the bags.
